Born in Yorkshire but educated in Peterborough, Paul attended Trent Polytechnic before beginning his career in estate agency in 1985. Over the years he worked for local independent, as well as high profile national, agents before taking on the role of Partner at a leading national agent in 2004. In 2012, Paul crystalised his experience and started Norton Rickett alongside Nick, with the head office based just outside Stamford.
He has strong values and believes that hard work, honesty and reliability are the attributes needed to succeed in today’s challenging market. He is married and has a daughter and when time allows, he enjoys mountain biking and skiing.
Nick moved from central London to work in the Lincolnshire area in 1991. A graduate in Agricultural Business Management, he took on a senior role for an international produce company for more than 10 years. In 2004 he joined a leading national estate agent and was promoted to Associate level before starting Norton Rickett with Paul in 2012. You could say that an appreciation of property is ‘in the blood’ – his grandfather was one of the co-founders of the Georgian Group in 1937, which promoted conservation of Georgian buildings and ultimately instigated the concept of Listed buildings.
Nick is married with three children and since 2000 has been actively involved in fundraising for the local community, which was recognised with him being nominated and selected as a local Olympic Torchbearer during the London 2012 games.
Louise was born and educated in Peterborough and worked locally before taking on a secretarial role in London. She returned to Peterborough to work for an international travel company, where she gained extensive customer service experience over her 11 years’ service. In 2006 she started in estate agency for a leading national company, initially as a Negotiator/New Homes Administrator. Louise joined Norton Rickett in 2013 as a Negotiator, dealing with clients and helping buyers find their ideal home; she was promoted to Senior Negotiator in October 2015.
